Funny Definitions from One Medwife to Another

Definitions

The Med Stud:

Noun. The husband to this med-wife. The medical student. Shortened, Med Stud, the Stud, and Stud. 'Cause he IS, after all, a stud.

 

ex. The med stud is smokin' hot.

Med:

Noun. Anything that relates to medicine, medical school, pre-med life, etc.

 

ex. All this med makes it so I never see Dr. D.

 

SO: Significant other (to the med studs). (aka - medwife...most of the time)

 

ex. I use the term SO when referring to medwives, because I am so PC.

And so the journey begins.....

After an entire year of trying to get into medical school the journey has finally begun. Today, May 16, 2011, we have made the decision to stay here in Los Angeles, California and attend USC Keck School of Medicine. You will notice I use a lot of "we" and "us" in this blog. This definitely has been a 2 person process, A LONG process which I will highlight in a later posting. For now I just wanted to share our decision and if you wanna be a part of this journey with us please follow along :)

It'll certainly be an interesting next 4 years as Daniel and I learn to be creative with our time more than ever before, especially since we have our new little addition.
